GMS Discovers “Diwali”

In October, we learned about “Diwali” – the Festival of Lights - one of the largest and brightest Hindu festivals.  The main festival coincides with the darkest, new moon night of the Hindu Lunisolar month “Kartika.  Students at GMS displayed “Rangoli” (floor art thought to bring good luck) using flower petals and cooked an Indian lunch for everyone to share at school.
