The Animal Sanctuary
Gisborne Montessori School has a number of animals which provides students with a sense of ownership. The animals provide wellbeing support, leadership opportunities, connections with nature as students are encouraged to participate in the feeding and caretaking of the animals. During 2022, our learners are working towards having the following animals on site:

KITCHEN & DINING PROGRAM
Gisborne Montessori School provides a full meal service for students. Students come together to eat a sit down meal as a school community. The menu is varied, healthy and the school can accommodate dietary requirements and allergies.

VISIONPOD - STEM, VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS
STEM, Visual and Performing Arts
Gisborne Montessori School has a vibrant Visual and Performing Arts Program. Students engage in Art lessons and therapy, Music theory and instrumental and production. Students are encouraged to participate in choir and productions and can enrol in private instrumental lessons in guitar and keyboard.
